I think I have learnt more in the last few days than I ever did at school
I’ve been really reading into different religions. Ones that I have never heard of, know little about, and some I know more about than, I guess ‘popular’ religions. ( I hope my wording isn;t wrong, as i just main religions that are followed but the majority of the population)
It’s really fantastic learning about the different historical theories, stories, Gods and Goddesses, practices, what they pray for ect.
I’ve tried to focus my research on ancient times/traditions, and paying little attention to modern changes. Although some websites fully compare the differences that has been made, which is also interesting.
Personally, it’s made me very excited to go over seas and experience these religions and cultures first hand.
I’ve been reading about a Philosophy author, Alain De Botton. His work seem so exceptional I’m really hoping the local library has some of his work, because I can;t wait to dig into it.
